The Dukan Diet “Attack” Phase

Secondly, oat bran has enormous health benefits in that it lowers cholesterol, is heart-healthy and causes improved intestinal tract health.

Also allowed through the Attack phase are sweeteners, vinegar, spices, herbs, garlic herb, onion, gherkins, pickled onions, lemon juice on food, mustard and salt (in moderation), sugar-free natural ketchup in moderation, and sugar-free gum. This should help jazz some misconception somewhat if you find it difficult – but keep in mind, it’s only for a period of time, and then you’re to the “Cruise” phase.

Exercise is “non-negotiable” and you are encouraged to walk briskly for 20 minutes every day, and you are also asked to drink you. 5 litres of drinking water. You can coffee, tea and diet drinks in this total.

My bottom line: hard, for anyone who is not used to cutting down on your carbs, but well worth it. It will kick-start your metabolism and you will feel great!
